My brother always played Tool in his room. Constantly I'd hear a Tool song so it kinda grew on me. But I never really listined to Tool until Aenema came out. I was really intereted in the CD disk art. That is until I figured out what it was & what the guy was doing Anyways I loved that album than APC came out & I loved them so i thought I'd check out more Tool. So i bought Undertow & Opiate & I was amazed by it all. Than I bought Lateralus and loved it & I got really inspired my Maynard and his amazing art. And I havent stopped listining to the amazing work of Tool & APC. S that's how I found Maynard.

This may come off as a little weird, but I can remember the exact moment I heard "3 Libras" on the radio for the first time. I mean where I was, what I was doing, what time of day it was....that song moved me so deeply. I had no idea who it was singing, but I knew I had to find out...

The strings draw you in at first, but then you hear that voice and it's all over isn't it?

Exactly. I loved the sound right away and than hearing Maynard sing it made it the best ever. I kinda feel the same way about A Stranger. I love that song just as much as I do 3 Libra's.

At first, I didnt know what to think of Tool.. their videos were completely different than what I had ever saw..Im usually pulled to different, unique and somewhat darker things so that is what interested me at first..then one of my friends brought over APC's new album and we were listening to the Counting Bodies song and it pulled me in.. up until then, I hadnt really listened.. I mean LISTENED to Tool's albums.. when my friend told me that it was Maynard and told me all this stuff he did on this album.. I was like this guy is a freaking genius! then.. I heard Schism on the radio one day and I was just hooked.. brilliant writing and brilliant music.. such an amazing talent..!! the music moves me emotionally and the words of the songs are so intense.. -Sparrow
