if it werent for the lyrics in apc i would be dead by now. Maynard has been such a HUGE influence i want to be a rock singer now when i grow up and i think i want to sing music that they sing in apc it would be really cool if i could do that and maybe i could do a duet with maynard or something and tell him abour how much his lyrics have meant to me

Are you doing anything now to try and achieve tht goal, cunt?
Are you taking singing lessons or taking up some musical intrument?
Instead of wanting to sing "what they sing in APC" maybe you should start trying to write your own music.
If Maynard influenced you, I'm hoping that influence included being creative and using your own talents.
Good luck to ya!

Im glad Maynard has been a huge influence for ya Im sure alot of us here could relate to that. Being a singer takes alot of practice trust me i know, i was once a singer in a band but the drumer and electric guitar player left so we had to quit it, but the good thing about progressive music is its always your own style so i suggest check out some of the poetry thread and get some ideas.

I think everyone here is extremely thankful for Maynard's work, or they wouldn't be here at a place called for the love of Maynard.

all three bands (puscifer is the third to clear any misunderstandings up, danny l has stated that they'll most likely work again) have inspired me, i'm heavily influanced by adam jones and how he uses electronic devices to create music that's not normal and ecentric. billys talents in the studio are amazing, the sound of MDN is one of my favorite albums of all time, the atmosphere is incredible. maynard has influenced me by writing such open music. before i listened to tool and apc i always stood in shawdows not really caring what's going on in the world, when i listened to them it felt they were speaking to me telling me that you can't just sit in the shadows and expect everything to be alright, thats not how humans evolve or become better. lateralus has to be the most influential album i own, although it didn't really have the quirky bleeps of adams guitar as undertow i still enjoy it more than any other record and i can put it on any day of the week and still love it.

MDN is one of my favorite albums of all Yep, me too. That album is amazing. Although I listen to all of APC quite often, MDN will always be one of my favorite albums (of any band).
