A cool old school band to check out: Quicksand. They aren't together any more. I think they only put out two albums, but they were really good. If I had to pick out one song to recommend, it would be 'landmine spring'.

Actually that is a really good song. If it wasn't kind of a joke and the Maynard's Dick part. Melody-wise and all, it's really good. In fact I wish it had different lyrics so I could listen to it more without being embarrased about listening to it.

What I was trying to say is the song itself, the tone, the melody....is really cool. It's not just the "Maynard's Dick", ya know?
