;D ;D ;D Hey everyone, just thought I'd open a thread if anyone is going away for a longer period of time, and people may wonder where they are after a few days......  I'm off to South Africa for a week's holiday (company paid). Will be in Cape Town for 4 days and then we are flying up to a game reserve in the Kruger National Park. ;D I'm very excited! Gonna miss you all, as I won't be able to take my pc with me, drat!  I do need the break though.  Take care, and I'll chat to you all when I get back, will try get some cool pics for you all. Be good and if you can't be good, then be good at IT! Don't miss me too much..... lol  Love J |

That sounds so fun. I live in mundane Indiana and have only briefly touched the states surrounding it. (I was very sheltered as a child) But be safe nonetheless, watch out for those darn lions running about. |

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Holla, Holla, Holla! I'm back lovely people of the bestest board on the net! ;D I had a phenominal time, and enjoyed every minute I was there. I felt like I was on holiday though and missed home 'England' very much. The weather was great, sunny, warm, good for tanning! I've got loads of photo's, will upload them and post some on the boards, only a few though, don't want to make you all too jealous! Thanks for the wishes, missed you all lots! Will be online later, I see I have loads to catch up on. Got loads of work to do. Must run! Cheers, J |

Our drive from the airport to the lodge on Friday we saw Warthogs: img.photobucket.com/albums/v641/lilacJ/P1010114.jpgWhen we got in, we ate lunch, put our bags in our lodge img.photobucket.com/albums/v641/lilacJ/P1010182.jpgThen went on our first game drive in the eve, and as we were leaving the gate, we saw an Elephant, right outside the gate. img.photobucket.com/albums/v641/lilacJ/P1010119.jpgThat evening we saw some buck/deers (Impala and Kudu) and to top off the evening White Rhino's img.photobucket.com/albums/v641/lilacJ/P1010137.jpgThe next morning we were up at 5.30am and off on another outing before breakfast. We saw more Elephant, and were pleasantly surprised when we caught up with a family of Giraffe. They are a great bunch of peole there!
