Besides the clowns creep me out completely. OMG! I hate clowns. They seriously creep me out too! I'm sure there has to be a lot more abuse of the animals in circuses over zoos also. When they are expected to "perform" you know they are being abused to do so.

Okay, I have to agree....the oompa loompas were a bit creepy and weird, but the munchkins I love. Especially the Lollipop Gang! But don't get me started in those damned winged monkeys from Oz.

I used to think that if I was Charlie and Wonka gave me the chocolate factory - I wouldn't take it because I wouldn't want to have to deal with the oompa loompas. They're creepy, little and orange. I would have had to sell them off first But the lollipop gang had that scary twitch with their mouths. Creepy. Call me crazy but I thought the winged monkeys were pretty. But the witches guards used to scare me.

Two greatest fears: Spiders and Clowns Yes I admit fairly sissy of me, but have you ever seen either of these two horrid creatures!? Please excuse me while I go cry and wet myself......... In all seriousness I hate spiders and clowns more than anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love spiders. I think they're cool. Their webs absolutely amaze me and I find them beautiful. If I find them in the house, I take them outside and let them go. (Otherwise my cat would eat them)

What is it with aracnophobes! Here's one for all of you! I used to be aracnophobic when I lived in the Southern Hemisphere, I'm talking Tarantulas from hell..... One evening, I was in the lounge sitting on the couch, my son was all of 3 or 4 months old, it was the rainy season..... we'd just moved into my ex's parent place cause he'd lost his job and I was supporting both of us.... a little background there for you.... when our little grey tabby cat came hurtling down the passage and started playing with what we thought was a thread from the brown carpet...... the next thing my ex leaped from the back of the room in one foul swoop into the kitchen and grabbed some paper towels..... he shouted at me and told me to get my feet up on the couch and hold my son..... hee hee.......... Turns out there was a huge rain spider (baboon spider) and the cat was playing with it it had it's front legs reared and fangs were out ready to stike...... I froze, and my ex managed to get it into the paper towels and out the house in a matter of seconds....... There you live with the most poisonous/venomous spiders in the world, that when I came here and saw the minute little critters that run around in the Northern Hemisphere that couldn't hurt an ant if you paid them too, I fell in love with them.... I catch them and set them free outside, they can do no harm...... ;D Sweet dreams! :evillaughsmiley:

I read somewhere that people swallow an average of 18 spiders a year in their sleep.
No wonder I'm a helpless insomniac.

I don't know what I would do if I ever came across one of these baboon spiders you speak of ... Beth

Hmmm. I'd like to try it. ^_^
Yeah, if they're ganna get mad about road kill candy then they might as well get mad about all food that's shapped like animals cuz everyone knows that when you give a kid food that's shapped like a living thing, usually, their first impulse is to bite it's head off.
