Austria? Wow! I know a person from over there, and she knew like a million languages... How about you? Actually, I don't speak like a million languages I speak German and English and I can at least understand Italian and Spanish a little bit, because I had to learn Latin and Ancient Greek. But unfortunately I'm about to forget it... ...depends on WHAT French you mean, darling )) Nobody's kicking you out, we're a bunch of nasty people in here hehe ;D BTW...we recently had a girl from Chile and one from Paraguay at our University to tell us about their country and other social stuff. They were like 16 years old and they decided to show us what "Allegria" means: they got 8kg ice from McDonalds, brought a bottle Bacardi, a bottle Whiskey and a bottle Coca Cola and then they mixed us drinks with like 2parts alcohol, 1 1/2 parts ice and 1 part Coca Cola. It turned out us being drunk at like 2 p.m. But it definitely showed us that you guys over there in South America (and I guess in southern Europe too)have this strong temper and spirit....very different to us Middle and North-Europeans

Wow! Latin... I love that language, I wish I had some during my academic years. Oh well... *sigh*
My kind of people =)
Je... we don't actually call it on "Allegria" on Mexico (because it's so common), but I know what you're talking about. Just dont' ask me about anything else cuz I'm not that into that sort of thing jeje. And yes, we do have a strong temper, but for the most part of the day we're very peaceful over here.
BTW, uhmm, Mexico it's in North America =) but I get your point. ;D

it's ok, ness, it's an honest mistake... actually, it's weird, but i think it's very common for people outside of mexico to think that (again, i'm not worried, but interested), is it? i won't go into the austria/australia topic here, but i'm very used to, like you i'm assuming ( for you halo), to have this type of confusion towards the geography of my country. no worries here hugs back, C.

You're right, I guess it's really a common misunderstanding, because Mexico is already Hispanic area...but I'm angry with myself that I didn't check it and that I already forgot the geographic stuff I learned in school. I guess I would have known it then. But that's just my filter-brain BTW I read your discussion about assuming with Halo...you 2 are really funny You should have a drink together were you can lay this "fight" down or keep discussing until morning.... ;D

That's probably it: Hispanic -> South American... that's the usual way to see it, I guess. Don't be... there isn't a reason to be angry. No offense, but the only thing that I know of Austria is that somewhere in it they speak German but really different from the one spoken in Germany. If it makes you feel better, I don't remember a lot of world geography myself ;D. je... I think at some point she would kick me in the crotch just to get it over with and go to sleep. Oh, hi Halo! jeje ;D

Hello,
I will admit to only reading the first page and I will try to read the rest when I have a few moments.
I was invited here from "Halo" from the aperfectcircle.net board. I must say that I feel a little awkward on a site dedicated to one person. I respect the man and his work, but I do not exalt him in any sense. I also feel that most of what he and most other musical artists have accomplished is greatly due to who they have had the luck of working with.
Tool, as a whole, changed the playing field of music for me as did a few other bands. Also, Maynard is one of the individuals who inspired me to sing.
Anyhow, I hope to share in some of the fun/discussions that take place on here.
