Hey all!
My name is Priscilla, I'm 20 years old, a college student and reside in Boston, Mass. I love music (I'd say a little bit of everything), movies, reading (huge book worm here lol). Maynard is one of, if not my favorite male vocalists. I love APC, not really into Tool that much although I have liked some songs. Anyway, I promised myself that I would at least check out their new CD.
Don't know what else to say, except that I look forward to getting to know you guys.
PEACE Priscilla

Hey Priscilla!! Welcome to the board! Glad to have you here and I hope you stick around and get to know all the fine members here. We have a wonderful bunch of peeps here. Book worm is good! I'm a bit of one myself. As VOG said, you should definitely recommend some books for us. And an APC fan.....excellent! (I'm over run with members who prefer Tool over APC. I'm the opposite. Although I love them both.) Make yourself at home, have fun and enjoy yourself here!

Welcome to the board Clemency.
Gotta say though, no this isn't a place where it's normal to be obsessed. I have a very difficult time with that word.
Admiration and respect for an artist, yea....but obsession kinda freaks me out.
Your welcome to express your admiration for Mr. Keenan and his work here, but let's just leave any obsessions at the door.

I've been coming around here for a while, and just decided to register. My name is Sonia, 28yrs, from California. I currently work as a social worker for child welfare. Have been listening to Maynards work for a while, off and on. My sister was the one who really exposed me to the music, which I love. I have other favorites, but Tool would rank pretty high ;D Other than that, I hope to post as often as I can Sonia

Hi everyone! My name is Agnes and I come from Austria (no kangaroos! ). I've joined the board, because I can identify with the words of MJK and I am happy that there's a board where people refer to him not only as a musician, but also to the person he is. He's definitely a very interesting man and very intelligent too. I like intelligent people, but not because they are something better, but because they have the ability of abstraction - not taking everything as being the reality, but trying to look at it from different points of view and then decide how to evaluate! And MJK as an artist has the responsibility to influence people in an intelligent way, not simply brainwash them! And he's doing his job quite well, I would say! But maybe a little bit more about me: I study something very technical related to IT (what a big secret ), but I've not been that technical person all of my life. I enjoyed general education (learned Latin and Ancient Greek, Psychology, Philosophy and stuff), I've played the flute for 12 years and the violin for 9 - so I would consider myself as being quite musical too. And, last but not least, I love sports (like horseriding, swimming and driving fast cars - nah I know that's not a sport hehe) and animals too. Enough about me...I'm looking forward on sharing thoughts with you out there how sad that I'm up while you are sleeping!
