I know downloading is wrong, but I was curious. I checked it out. I dont know who is singing but it is not Maynard. The song is ridiculous.

I think he means the "opiate for breakfast" song. Even the lyrics are god-awful.

All I heard was "Idle". Just a bunch of unnecessary noise.

where did u guys download these songs? of kazaa or something? and yeah i figured that lateralus was at the limit with space ya know...but its weird how shit like that can appear on websites...cuz that website totally threw me for a loop.....
I once heard a chevelle song tried to be passed on as a new APC song a while ago....
B - do u think u could share that demo of DC's other band? and i never knew merkaba was a cover...i assumed it was an original by the band...thats makes Salival kind of weak...just another cover...with NQ and You Lied....wow....

and yeah i just went back to THAT lyric website...i almost fucken died laughing from this...its a song called ALONE
Scott: (from creed)
It's been a long day at the bottom of the hill,
she died of a broken heart.
She told me I was living in the past,
drinking from a broken glass.
Chorus: ( Maynard and Scott)
I'm alone ,
now I [now I] try to face the cold.
I'm alone ,
now I [now I] try to travel home.
Scott:
I walked down to the other end of the day,
just to catch those last few rays.
I held out my hand and slowly waved goodbye,
I turned now my eyes up to the sky.
Chorus
(Both)
She'll come back to me. [She'll come back to me.]
She'll come back to me. [She'll come back to me.]
All alone in this mysery.
She'll come back to me.
Maynard:
I held out my hands into the light and I watched it die,
I know that I was part to play.
My god, my time to die.
Never want to spend my life alone. ---
WTF?!?!?!?

Merkaba on Salival and Merkaba by Zaum are 2 different titles. There's not any cover.

I'm not taking any sides, but I do trust Kabir's Tool knowledge.
From Toolshed.down Tool Faqs:
H21. Is Tool's "Merkaba" the same as the song "Merkaba" by Zaum?
No; though Danny was playing drums for the other band, the two "Merkabas" are not the same song; merely named for the same thing.

Both interpretations have been talked about, but I'm pretty sure neither is true.
