I notice that a lot of you like to quote people on your post. I love reading quotes. People can say some amazing things sometimes. So I took the intiative to make a quote thread. Put any misc. or creative/colorful quotes in here. Here's one I recently found and it is GREAT!!! ( I think you'll like this one Halo.):
"When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained."
--- Mark Twain
Bad ass or what? That is my new favorite quote. It really makes you want to just be free.

Here's a random one somebody sent me as joke through email today. I'm not sure if it's even a quote or who said it, but I thought it was funny:
"The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends, if they're okay, then it's you."

Think of your three best friends, if they're okay, then it's you." That quote is from Rita Mae Brown (US author, Lesbian, and social activist; author of "Rubyfruit Jungle" 1973, "Six of One" 1978, "Southern Discomfort" 1982, "Rest in Pieces" 1992, "Riding Shotgun" 1996) Here's a few of my favorites: "The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently." ---Friedrich Nietzsche "The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed."---Carl Jung I love this one: "Sometimes the mind, for reasons we don't necessarily understand, just decides to go to the store for a quart of milk."---Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider (So that's what has happened to me on a few occasions! I just needed some damn milk! )

Very nice bastard. AE had some great quotes. Yep. That's always been a favorite of mine too. Here's another favorite, by my favorite (Friedrich Nietzsche): "Without music, life would be a mistake"I actually tried having this translated to Kanji so I could use it for a tattoo. Unfortunately it doesn't translate well at all in Kanji. So, I 'm going with "Music strengthens and heals the Heart, Mind, Body, Spirit and Soul.

Here's a few I like from Henry Rollins: "Half of life is fucking up the other half is dealing with it." "Scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue. Realize the strength, move on."" Why do you think the old stories tell of men who set out on great journeys to impress the gods? Because trying to impress people just isn't worth the time and effort." Ya gotta love Rollins!
