Once again your sarcastic wit has bested me! No...not wit. It's a sickness. Somehow I can turn anything and everything in to sex. There is something seriously wrong with me. But it's not like I'm looking too hard for a cure either.

Someone asked me this question and it took me a long while to think about it.I'd probably choose APC.For almost the same reason as you Halo.More melodic & heartfelt.I can relate to more APC songs than TOOL.Which is probably another reason why i'd choose APC.I love Tool's music.I love Maynard aggresiveness with Tool but I still gotta choose APC.Hopefully we wont ever have to think about this sort of thing but if we do I say APC.But yet Tool is his origin in music so if he had to make that choice I'd say he would choose Tool but I say APC.

Tool and APC speak of things that can change your life, the way you think, and guide you through tough times. To pick would be to say which one has done this for me the most. I would have to say tool.

I would have to say in all honesty that my heart is ripped in two right now. APC changed my life but I am sooooooooo longing for the next Tool CD. I think when that coms out I might have to change my anwser. I guess I'm a bandwagon fan. When APC is out, they're my fav, when Tool is out they're my fav. I can't pick!!! Decisions Decisions!!

You don't have to pick vog. It was a silly thread and just a "what if you absolutely had to" thing. I think for most everyone, it's kind of a mix. It seems to depend a lot on different times in your life, different things you are going through, the mood you are in. There really is no picking which is best (that was never the intention), it's more which band has helped you the most I guess. This thread should just die.

AND[/size] Are both great bands. They both have the ability to inspire, move, provoke, heal and all those amazing things really great music can do, each in their own separate ways.
'Nuff said. (oh yea.....and they are both just really great to listen to also.)
