I don't know what the "meaning" of life is, but I have ideas on what we are "meant" to do.
I think we are meant to learn as much as we can while we are here, be the best person that we can be, take care of each other and our world, produce, evolve, love, nurture and then pass all of that on to future generations.
Like being a parent....you want a better life for your child.
Being on earth we want a better place for generations to come.
And we want to have passed on to the future generations, those same ideals....to love, to have compassion, to learn, to grow and hope that in turn, each generation accomplishes more and more.

If life had a specific meaning, there would be no evolution, no self-discovery, all would be linear and senseless. There are experiences to be had, happiness and pain to be felt, and paths to be carved, all of which dependant of each individual person. I often think of life as a very complicated mathematical equation, with all the variables within it contributing for the final result. And just by changing one of those variables, the result will be different. That's why there is no meaning to it, at least at first sight, IMO.

I think life is more like a sine-function, it goes up and down all the time! And I don't think that a meaning of life would stop any possibility of maturing or growth. It should more be a frame for your life. And in this frame you can grow, mature and add something special to you |

It would be nice, if were that simple, Blayne. And who knows...maybe it is. But I don't think we were meant to simply love and nothing else. We can love and not be productive. We can love and not grow. We can love and never learn. Love is very important...but I don't think it is the end all and be all of everything. |

I think life is a game you play. Alot of people say you lose but that is determined on how you play it. If you live your life the best you can then you'll win the game of life. Your choices in life play a big role into it. Both of my brothers are losing right now. They are hooked on drugs and not doing what they should be doing with their lifes. I'm trying to have the best life i can have. Sure things arent lookin that great but you gotta keep ya head up and continue. Life is full of challinges and obsitcles. You gotta do ure best to over come those obsticles. If you do then life won't be as hard. Cause you will be strong enough to overcome the challenges of life. You gotta do the very best you can in what you do. That includes school,carrer,jobs, and all that. Gotta do ure very best in those to have a good life. Cause if you just take it for granted then it'll be gone and too late. That is what I think the meaning of life is. to live the best you can and do the best you can to have a good life. I don't have a clue what happens when we die. I dont know if there's a heaven and a hell.
