How about having this outlook 'Well, that is your perspective , it is not like mine, but if my perpsective is to be respected , than so should yours Because I'm not a liar. The meaning of life is love. Period. Whether you or anyone else alive likes it or not - some things are just fucking true.

Of course not. But the question was "What is the point of life?" Not "What are we supposed to do in life to reach that point?" Actually, the question was, "What is the meaning of life?" Produce what? Grow into what? Learn what? What do you want to find? Super Sized Love? Okay, I'll play along. Be productive. I don't think the meaning of life is to just sit on your ass and love. Learn everything you can about this world and everything in it. Be productive and try and leave this world a little better place than when you entered it. Learn and grow as a person to be the best person you can be. And yes, love is in there too. Love makes the world go 'round. But even love has to grow or it becomes stagnant. You have to learn how to love to the very best of your ability. Love has to be productive or it's going to soon become a very boring love. Oh goodie. A virgin. Lemme pop that. It is. Thanks for you opinion dear. Opinions are always welcome and respected. But your opinion just didn't penetrate deep enough to pop anything on me. Proverbial cherry still intact. Because I'm not a liar. The meaning of life is love. Period. Whether you or anyone else alive likes it or not - some things are just fucking true. Again, thanks for your opinion. Yes, some things things are fucking true.....to the person that believes them. This is your truth Blayne. Some may agree with you, some may not. I do hope that you can handle someone not agreeing with everything you say. Otherwise you're not doing a very good job of living up to your own description of the meaning of life. Love......remember? Or does love to you mean only loving those that agree with you?

One simple anwser: To die. The meaning of life is we grow old and we die. There's no big mystery. just a big let down. IMO that is. I'm sure others feel differently. But I just make lemonad with the lemons I got and just try not to think about my big end. haha I suppose I'm morbid, but why get my hopes up??

IMO we are all on a journey towards enlightenment and at each stage we must share what has been discovered with those who will listen. The sharing is part of the work. The listening is part of the work. We have to become aware of the inevitable process of the evoloution of consciousness and we must eliminate the cloud of illusion that tells us we are all seperate.
We must give compassionate love and understanding to each other. We must realize that every aspect of life is connected, and we must realize and access the divine light within. Thats what I believe the point of life is.

i didnt come up with that on my own..i have to thank "Be Here Now" the book...its got me looking at life completley different...thats why im trying so hard to find a buddhist retreat....i must access the divine light that brought us all here....and is within everyone of us....buddha said after becoming enlightened that it was easy because it was inside of us already
